If recent rumors are true, Nvidia has decided to do a rather weird move. Supposedly they will create an exclusive limited version of cards, that will only go on sale in one country. And that country is....wait for it...Sweden! Surprised? I was too. It will be named Fermin and like its name suggests it will be based on Nvidia's new generation GPU chip, named Fermi. Surprisingly it will not use one GPU, not two, but four. Four GPUs on a single PCB? I think we have not heard of something similar since 3Dfx started stacking insane numbers of GPUs on their last generation of Voodoo cards just before they were bought by Nvidia. GPU clocks will be set to a relatively low frequency of 666MHz, but these will be custom chips with 666 stream processors, which is simply insane. That plus 666-bit memory bus and 4GB of GDDR5 memory running at 666MHz (equivalent to 2664MHz) is the reason why this card will simply blow everything else away. Single card requires a 1000W power supply and if you want to, you can put two of these in an SLI configuration. They cost 1390$ and there is a very limited amount of them available for pre-order. This product is a true collector's item and besides being one of the biggest, it may also be one of the most memorable PC cards ever made. Source: SemiAccurate
