SSDs are slowly, slowly taking over the market, because their performance is something we did not even dream of a year or two ago. The first one to introduce REALLY fast SSDs was Intel with its X series, quickly followed by OCZ with its Vertex series. Now Corsair jumping into battle, too. They have released a 256GB SSD drive with Samsung NAND chips accompanied by Samsung MLC controller. It also features a "queuing-enabled controller" and 128MB of DRAM for cache. All these features should result in a high performance drive with no slow-downs and stutter. There no reviews yet online, but we will be adding them to our Review database as soon as they emerge.
